AI Update: AI Side Hustles and Creating Vector Logos from AI Images
Today I share some AI side hustles, a workflow for logos, and how to train ChatGPT to write your emails
The Dawn of the A.I. Side Hustle: Grab Your Digital Shovel and Start Digging
Picture this: you're holding a digital shovel, standing at the edge of a freshly uncovered gold mine. Your eyes are gleaming with anticipation. The gold mine? It's the booming world of A.I.-aided side hustles. The shovel? That's the power of artificial intelligence, ready to help you carve out your own slice of success.
When Airbnb CEO, Brian Chesky, said that A.I. would "create millions of startups," he wasn't simply feeding us tech buzzword soup. He was pointing to the reality that, with the right tools, anyone can become an entrepreneur. But instead of battling it out with dragons in a "Shark Tank" episode, you're leveraging A.I. to turn your ideas into a lucrative side hustle.
Think of A.I. as a multi-talented Swiss Army Knife that's here to simplify your entrepreneurial journey. It's like having a personal assistant, data analyst, marketing manager, and customer service rep, all rolled into one. The best part? It never asks for a coffee break.
Let's imagine a few scenarios, shall we?
E-Commerce Virtuoso
Suppose you decide to run an online store. You've got a brilliant idea for selling hand-knit alpaca wool scarves. The only issue? You're one person, not an army. Enter A.I., your new strategic partner. With A.I., you can predict customer preferences, manage inventory, and set optimal pricing strategies. Need to find out which scarves are flying off the digital shelves? A.I. has you covered. Want to offer real-time customer support? Deploy an A.I.-powered chatbot. All of a sudden, your one-person operation feels like a well-oiled machine.
Wordsmith Extraordinaire
Or perhaps you're a wordsmith, looking to make your mark in the freelance writing world. A.I. can help here, too. It's like having a writing coach and editor in your corner, 24/7. It'll catch those pesky grammar mistakes, suggest captivating topics, and even help you avoid plagiarism. It's like having a little grammar gnome that lives in your computer, helping you polish your prose to perfection. Just remember to keep feeding it data and it'll keep churning out insights.
Digital Educator
Maybe you're more inclined towards education. With A.I., you can provide personalized learning experiences, track student progress, and offer timely feedback. It's like having a digital teaching assistant, keeping track of who's nailing quadratic equations and who's struggling with fractions. Plus, you'll have more time to focus on delivering quality education, while A.I. takes care of the administrative tasks like a super-powered school secretary.
Marketing Maven
And if you're a marketer, A.I. can help you optimize ad placements, target specific demographics, and even create engaging social media posts. You'll be like a conductor, guiding the A.I. orchestra to perform a symphony of successful campaigns. It's like having a crystal ball that predicts consumer behavior, helping you deliver your message to the right audience at the right time.
Design Dynamo
Finally, for the visual creators out there, A.I. can automate repetitive tasks and provide design suggestions. Imagine having a digital muse that also doubles as a Photoshop wizard. You get to focus on the creative side while A.I. takes care of the grunt work. It's like having your very own design studio, right at your fingertips.
Now, let's pause for a moment. It's crucial to remember that while A.I. is a game-changer, it's not a magic wand. It doesn't replace human creativity and critical thinking - it enhances them. It's the trusty sidekick to our superhero endeavors, not the hero itself. A.I. can provide the tools, but it's your unique human ingenuity that will make your side hustle shine.
Don't worry about A.I. rendering us obsolete. It's more like a high-tech hammer. A hammer can't build a house on its own, but in the hands of a skilled carpenter, it can create something beautiful. The same goes for A.I. It's a tool, and like any tool, its value depends on how it's used.
The landscape of entrepreneurship is changing, and A.I. is paving the way for a new generation of side hustlers. The opportunities for innovation are endless. It's like we're standing at the edge of a new frontier, with a vast expanse of possibilities laid out before us.
So, strap on your digital boots, grab your A.I. shovel, and start digging. The gold rush of the A.I. era is here, and it's time to stake your claim. Whether you're an e-commerce virtuoso, wordsmith extraordinaire, digital educator, marketing maven, or design dynamo, there's a rich vein of opportunity waiting for you. Just remember: the future of entrepreneurship isn't just about the tools we use, but the vision, creativity, and human ingenuity we bring to the table.
Don't just dream of the future - seize it, shape it, and make it your own. As we stand on the brink of this A.I.-powered revolution, it's clear that the future of side hustles is bright, innovative, and teeming with potential. Now, let's get out there and make the most of it.

Training ChatGPT To Write Your Emails
This Forbes article provides a step-by-step guide on training ChatGPT to write your emails:
Set the Scene for Your LLM (Large Language Model): Start by preparing a prompt that informs ChatGPT that it will be providing email responses based on examples of your past email responses. The initial prompt should follow this format: "I’d like you to provide email responses to emails I receive. First, I’m going to show you some examples of how I have responded to emails in the past...".
Add Examples of Your Email Responses: Provide examples of past emails and responses to train ChatGPT in your style. This should be catered to specific groups you frequently correspond with, such as potential clients, existing clients, team members, or investors. It's recommended to provide at least 5 emails, including greetings and sign-off wording.
Introduce Yourself and Your Goals: This step involves providing more context about yourself and what you do. Provide details about your role, the target audience you serve, the outcomes you achieve for your clients, and how you work with your clients.
Make Sure It Understands Your Style: To ensure ChatGPT understands your style, ask it to summarize your email style and bio under specific headers: Who you are, the tone/style/voice of your emails, the topics you are asked about, how you communicate with your clients/team/audience members, and any specific or important points gleaned from your example emails.
Create Responses to Your Emails: At this stage, you can copy and paste an email into the program for ChatGPT to respond to. The response should align with your style and answer questions as you would have done yourself. If you're not satisfied with the response, you can ask for specific changes or click "regenerate response". The idea is that editing ChatGPT's responses should be quicker than writing the email from scratch yourself1.
