AI UPDATE: Open AI Disables Browse, WonderDynamics Open WonderStudio, Midjourney's Zoom Feature

OpenAI Has Temporarily Turned Off Browsing

I am really looking forward to a future without limitations for Chat GPT-4. Today, OpenAI found that users were able to request full text and get the full content from paywalled or gated websites like Medium, New York Times, etc.

While they try to resolve the issue and try to remain compliant with content owners, they have disabled the browsing feature.

There are a couple of plugins still available to add this functionality; LinkReader and WebPilot. While browsing was disabled, I was still able to summarize an article using these plugins.

Besides a crippled browsing feature, I am seeing an increase in enforcement of the max number of requests in 3 hours. In the past, I didn’t run into the limit much with GPT-4 but now I seem to be getting it on a daily basis.

Wonder Studio Is Now Open For Everyone

You may remember my excitement in past issues about Wonder Dynamics and their Wonder Studio CGI Video Suite. Personally, I think the technology is quite revolutionary. Yesterday, they announced on Twitter that it was out of Beta and open to everyone.

I never made it into the Beta for this one, so very excited to try it later this week.

Midjourney’s Zoom Feature

Midjourney has now added outpainting with its zoom functionality. Now you can take a portrait shot and have Midjourney create an overall scene by zooming out.
