Marketing AI Institute's Podcast Audience Grows 6250% with AI
In the world of Silicon Valley, the phrase "work smarter, not harder" has become somewhat of a clichΓ©. Yet, it seems the Marketing Artificial Intelligence Institute (MAII) has taken this mantra to heart, leveraging AI to transform its podcast strategy and increase its downloads from a paltry 1,600 in 2021 to an impressive 100,000 in 2023.The secret to their success? A change in strategy and a healthy dose of artificial intelligence.
Originally, the MAII podcast was a time-consuming endeavor, with each episode requiring 5-7 hours of work from the CEO Paul Roetzer. Combined with the costs of an outside production team and a lack of internal support, it quickly became apparent that this strategy was unsustainable.
The solution was a shift in focus. Rather than interviewing experts, Roetzer and Chief Content Officer Mike Kaput decided to cover the top AI news each week. This not only allowed them to stay abreast of the latest developments in the field, but also transformed the Institute into a hub of relevant AI trends and updates.
However, the real game-changer was the integration of AI into their production process. From research and scriptwriting to transcription and promotion, AI was used to streamline tasks and make the process more efficient. This allowed Roetzer to reduce his time commitment to just 1.5 hours per episode, making the podcast far more manageable.
This AI-assisted strategy has not only resulted in a significant increase in downloads but has also created efficiencies across their content production process. Each podcast episode now generates a variety of content assets, including blog posts, YouTube videos, and social media shares.
The success of MAII's podcast strategy offers a compelling case study for other organizations looking to leverage AI in their operations. However, it also serves as a reminder that AI is not a magic bullet. As Roetzer notes, success often depends on "consistently showing up and creating as much value as possible."
In the end, the MAII's experience underscores the potential of AI to transform business operations. But it also highlights the importance of a well-thought-out strategy and a commitment to providing value. After all, even the most advanced AI can't compensate for a lack of direction or a failure to meet the needs of your audience.
So, as we look to the future, let's remember the lessons of the MAII. Let's work smarter, not harder. Let's leverage AI where it makes sense. But most importantly, let's never lose sight of the value we're trying to create. Because in the end, that's what truly matters.

The AI Revolution: A Death Knell for Indian Coders or a Wake-Up Call?
Mark your calendars, folks. In less than two years, the Indian IT outsourcing industry could be in for a seismic shift. If Emad Mostaque, CEO of Stability AI, is to be believed, the majority of India's outsourced coders could be out of their jobs, thanks to the relentless march of artificial intelligence (AI).
Mostaque has been making several bold comments during his interviews, however a lot of them seem to make sense to me.
Mostaque's prediction is not just a random shot in the dark. It's a stark warning about the potential effects of AI, which he claims will drastically reduce the need for human coders. According to him, the AI revolution will not be a slow, gradual process. It will hit hard and fast, and India's coders, particularly those up to level three programmers, will bear the brunt of it.
The reason? The advent of generative AI models that can write code better than humans and do it faster. The implications are profound. If AI can handle everything from bug testing to ideation, then what's left for human coders? The answer, Mostaque suggests, is not much.
But before we all jump on the doom-and-gloom bandwagon, let's take a step back. Yes, AI is advancing rapidly, and yes, it will undoubtedly disrupt many industries. But it's also worth noting that the impact of AI will vary significantly from country to country. In nations with strong labor laws like France, programmers are likely to be better protected.
Moreover, the advent of AI doesn't necessarily mean the end of all coding jobs. As Mostaque himself points out, the future may involve AI "co-pilots" working alongside human coders. This could mean fewer people are needed for classical programming, but it could also open up new opportunities in areas yet to be imagined.
India, home to more than 5 million software programmers, is no stranger to technological disruption. The country's IT outsourcing industry has long been a global powerhouse, serving everyone from Silicon Valley tech giants to Wall Street banks. The question now is not whether AI will disrupt this industry, but how India will adapt to this change.
Companies like Tata Consultancy Services, India's largest outsourcing provider, are already betting big on AI, training thousands of engineers on the technology. Their "machine-first" approach to project delivery reflects a recognition that AI will indeed have an "enormous impact" on the way they work.
So, is the AI revolution a death knell for Indian coders? Not necessarily. It's more accurate to see it as a wake-up call. A call to upskill, innovate, and find new ways to harness the power of AI. Because in the end, the future of coding isn't about humans versus machines. It's about how we can work together to create something even better.
Using AI To Design And Create Clothing
Gonna make my own fashion. If you wanna do the same:
1) Use AI to visualize the garments
2) Create them in CLO, a program that allows you to easily make 3D clothing and export them as sewing patterns(!)
3) Email the sewing patterns to tailoring website
4) Wear them! :)

Thatβs all for today. Early morning for me tomorrow at 6:45 AM with a pulmonary test and then the first day of 3 for chemo to suppress t-cell production to get ready for my CAR-T therapy coming up on Monday.
