AutoGPT Variation For Gaming, Chat GPT with Web Browsing & Zoom IQ
Wow, web browsing adds a whole new layer of functionality to Chat GPT...
Jury Is Still Out For Me On AutoGPT
Deep down, I really want AutoGPT to work, but have failed to find a use case that actually gave me results that were usable.
Up to this point, that was mainly because of my use cases around marketing. In almost every instance, one of the tasks was to create a survey to survey the audience and evaluate the responses. Most of the time, it then needed that data to be used in future steps so it was hardly autonomous.
I think the problem here was poor use cases. If you have been using AutoGPT, I would love to hear more about your experience.

When I looked at the technical description in the thread, this looked like it has more possible use cases. It is based on a paper from Stanford and Google called Generative Agents: Interactive Computational Agents That Simulate Human Behavior.
This is in my mind the foundation for AGI, by developing agents that can interact with humans naturally based on their connected models, and carry out tasks. I think this could also play a role in advancing RPA (Remote Process Automation) by expanding on what normally would be a rules engine that is managed to a more autonomous implementation.
ChatGPT With Web Browsing
I won’t lie, if you thought GPT-4 was slow, you’ll have plenty of time to go make yourself a cup of coffee while this chugs along. However, this solves a lot of the issues I had with AutoGPT in the past. My initial test was writing a tech column for some of the latest news in AI and I think it excelled at that.
One of the things to keep in mind when using web browsing is to make sure to ask for “latest news” or something to that effect. I did have cases where web browsing was turned on but it did not invoke the functionality and wrote the article based on it’s existing learning.

Zoom IQ, Improving Your Meetings
Zoom has been busy adding AI functionality to its meeting platform. They recently announced a partnership to leverage Anthropic (the 100k tokens people) to use their Claude model to improve automated customer support. They have also been busy implementing meeting summarization and more natively in the platform with Zoom IQ. One of the most interesting functionalities for me was the brainstorming functionality in their whiteboards to have Zoom IQ come up with ideas for say a marketing campaign, to start the discussion from a simple text prompt.

Well, that’s it for today. As always if you have any feedback, or would like to see an example of a prompt for a specific use case let me know.
