My Focus For AI For the Next Few Months
I spent the last 4 days chatting with Spencer and Mike about AI...
The direction I am taking the next few months and possibly the rest of the year…
I spent the last 4 days with Spencer Shaw from Podkick and Mike Brevik from Cyberdogz Marketing. During that time, we spent a lot of time talking about AI, staffing, outsourcing, and how to best leverage what we have.
We also took time to watch Day 2 & 3 recordings from AI Bot Summit I attended in Vegas last month. I have to say watching the recordings outside the seminar environment gave me a better perspective on everything.
Mainly not being distracted by the other 399 people in the room but also being able to chat between us with the different perspectives we have from our agencies, and where each of us is in the understanding of the technology.
The primary focus for us out of the next few months is implementing as much as we can internally within our agencies. It was kind of a lightbulb moment last week on an initial consulting call with another agency last week. They wanted help improving their onboarding, ad creative/copy generation, and finally data visualization and reporting.
On the call, I was reminded of our wish to not be the “cobblers kids” where we are providing great marketing services to clients, but not actually implementing our own practices internally. I passed on the consulting and now focusing on our internal implementation first.
A deeper dive on how AI could impact the election next year…
Last week, I shared a political ad generated 100% by AI. This weekend Axios went deeper into how AI could impact the election. Currently, it’s the wild, wild West as there are no rules for using AI in politics.
This latest environment goes well beyond the 2008 and 2012 Facebook elections. we are going to see a lot more micro-profiling of voters. Sentiment analysis with AI is going to play a larger part to determine how well their messages are getting across.
I think we will definitely see audio overdub through AI during the election and some deep fake videos. Even if they are identified as AI-generated, it is very easy for that labeling to be lost through shares and muddy the waters as to what is fake and what is real.

Tools I am looking at this week…
I ran a test this weekend trying to automate image generation with Mindjourney through Make automation by sending a message to a channel on Discord. It did post the message, however it did not invoke the imagine command. As I write this I realize why. The paid Midjourney account is under my name and not the bot from Make.
Titan XT is a form of RPA (Remote Process Automation) that logs into your Midjourney account and can submit 100s - 1,000s of image prompts for you and the split up the generated images for downloading.
Uses ChatGPT to assist in mind mapping out your ideas and expanding on them. Would like to see this eventually incorporated into the regular interface for ChatGPT instead of giving an outline when asking for a minmap.
I mentioned ChatPDF previously, this looks to go much further with support for larger files and not only PDF but DOC, TXT, audio, YouTube Video, and webpages as well.
That is it for today. As you have probably noticed the emails have been later recently than we first started. I have not set a hard time yet, but I expect they will probably be sent between 11am and 12pm moving forward.
Until tomorrow,
