AI Update - Issue 2
Today, we are taking a closer look at three tools I tested this weekend. The walkthrough videos can be a bit long, but you should be able to select a speed to speed it up or scrub in the player.
First up is MacWhisper…
With MacWhisper, you will no longer have to pay for transcripts or SRT files through Rev or other providers you can easily get a very accurate transcript on your Mac by leveraging the language models from OpenAI’s Whisper Speech to Text.
It is incredibly fast and accurate. In the walkthrough, I use an existing YouTube video from a client as an example, but you can also give it an audio or video. There is also a beta for transcribing audio from another app on your Mac like Zoom.
Next up is GodMode…
In this walkthrough, I asked it to determine if there is a market for chicken swings. Yes, they actually do make swings for chickens. Fun fact, I actually sent one to my friend, Spencer Shaw for his chicken coop one year.
I think the results this time around were better than my previous test, but the process still seems laborsome with Godmode. a true AutoGPT in a terminal setting may be better. In the end, it wanted to post surveys in Chicken forums and even wrote Python code to analyze the survey results.
Autonomous GPT, being able to get a task and desired outcomes and then come up with its own solutions is pretty cool, and this is how we will have new discoveries in the future in medicine and other fields that would not be possible before.
The final one is Plask with a bonus look at AIPRM chrome extension for Chat GPT…
I can definitely see the potential in this but it will take some practice and dexterity to get it right. If you have worked with 3d models in the past it may be a lot easier for you. Basically, you are working with a 3d model of a man or woman, and you are able to manipulate the poses by adjusting the various pivot points of the body. Then, once you have a pose you can use a text prompt to skin out your character and create the scene, mood, and lighting. In the hands of the right artist this could be powerful and a timesaver, I think.

That’s a wrap for today. Do you have a favorite tool or prompt you want to share, hit reply and let me know, I would love to hear what you are working on and how I may be able to help.
